More UCF Equestrian

This is probably going to be my last post from the UCF Equestrian series. Probably a good idea to keep some in the wraps. The following are more of my favorites from shooting with Alisha and Hannah this past Thursday. Alisha is a member of the Hunt team, and Hannah is the club's advisor. Enjoy!

To The Barn

After a lot of planning, I have finally started shooting my idea to document members of the UCF Equestrian team with their horses in portrait format. Even though I've only shot one, Jane L., it has been great working with the members so far with planning the photo sessions. Expect a lot more posts! I am really excited to see this project pan out.





By the way, my secret goal in this project is trying my hand at showing necessary texture.

September 11th Memorial

Early Thursday morning the UCF Air Force ROTC held a special flag raising ceremony outside of Millican Hall in honor of remembering the Sept. 11th tragedy. This is the second time I've worked with the UCF detachment, and I've enjoyed working with them every time. They are a great group of people and very honorable.

On the court again...

shooting one of my all time favorite UCF sports - Women's Volleyball. I think I've enjoyed the sport since I covered it as sports beat freshman year. On Wednesday night the team played against in-state team Bethune-Cookman, beating them in three games. And oh how I miss Coach Colado...
