More HS football

This is the new head coach of Lake Howell Silverhawks, Tom Oliver.



We were walking through the Lake Howell locker room to where the his team was watching film, and on the way there I saw open lockers, lights above, nice space. So we stopped for a quick portrait - and I think it came out alright.

Hail Mary

Today my high school football coverage rolled into a local Baptist church. The church was honoring the local football teams during their Sunday service. I'll never turn down the chance to shoot in a baptist church; the welcoming personalties and uplifting music can't be avoided.

This past week I've been working on a high school football preview for the 2008 season. These are some of my favorite outtakes from the four Seminole County schools I have been to so far.

The Governator...

Yesterday I went to an assignment with Connecticut's Gov. Jodi Rell making an announcement for funding of furnace replacement for Connecticut residents.



She sent a look my way, I told her "we don't have furnaces in Florida, and I'm not a Connecticut resident. Thank you though."

Don't Let The Kids Know

This is from a road show version of the PBS children's series "Between the Lions." Today the show stopped in Bristol's Imagine Nation Museum, as part of the tour.




If I was a kid, and saw the "puppet masters," I wouldn't be so happy. I decided not to file this image.

Soundslides

This is an attempt at doing a soundslides on deadline; I setup it as my personal goal for the day. I believe it worked. The event was in the morning, and it was ready for publishing around 8 that night.

Summer Camp in Connecticut

So, this is my first blog post, which is exciting. The last few days I've spent some time with the summer campers at Indian Rock Nature Preserve in Bristol.
